Fragrance has always had a special place in my heart, but nearly two years ago I officially dove into the world of fragrance content creation and it’s been such a dreamy ride ever since! I’ve discovered scents I’ll never let go of, connected with amazing people (some now forever friends!), and experienced opportunities I never imagined. Hi, I’m Jessica! I fell in love with fragrance at a young age thanks to my grandma, who always smelled amazing and shared her passion with me. Now, I work as a therapist and sexual assault response coordinator, which can be incredibly rewarding but also really stressful. Fragrance has become my favorite way to unwind, it’s my escape, my self-care, and my creative outlet. I love how certain scents can make me feel happy, beautiful, or instantly nostalgic. It’s such a fun way to express myself, and it’s led me to the most amazing, supportive community. My current obsession? Catch Feelings by 5 SENS. Fragrance has been a staple in my life for as long as I can remember. As early as 10 years old, I remember sneaking off to the mall to find the clearance sales and load up on body sprays and perfumes. Fragrance played a key part in building my confidence and is my favorite form of self care. The most rewarding compliment I receive is people telling me that I smell good!
A powerful feature of fragrance is something called "scent memory". Certain smells can transport you to a time, place or feeling. What makes 5 SENS fragrances powerful are the memories and emotions that they evoke. Burn for You makes me feel happy and warm inside because it reminds me of summertime bonfires with my family. Catch Feelings makes me feel surrounded by love and support because I’m transported back to my wedding day when I smell the elegant floral notes that remind me of my bouquet. While I love and adore every 5 SENS fragrance, my favorite perfume would have to be Life of the Party. This was actually the initial perfume that introduced me to the brand and it has had me hooked ever since. It's such a bold and sexy fragrance that is sure to boost anyone's confidence!
